PRAY

“Brethren, pray for us.”
              1 Thessalonians 5:25

We at Pathos: Christ Centered Counseling echo Paul’s desire in his request to the church at Thessalonica. If you have a desire to support our ministry please keep us in prayer. It is our firm belief that apart from our Lord we can do very little (John 15:5) to guide our clients into a deeper relationship with our Savior.

One of the scriptural foundations at Pathos is the truth that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). Therefore, each therapist at Pathos has made a commitment to serve and guide others in a manner that will give those seeking God’s will a Spirit filled strength to meet any situation and overcome any difficulty.

As you come along side our ministry, please consider the following prayers requests. The list is divided into two parts. Section one are requests for the therapists that have made a commitment to the ministry and the second are for those who God brings into the ministry for wisdom and healing.

Prayer for the therapists:

  1. Pray that each therapist would be diligent in prayer and the study of God’s word.
  2. Pray that God will continually fill each therapist with the Holy Spirit.
  3. Pray that God will help each therapist speak those things that please Him, not necessarily those things that please and excite those who are seeking counsel.
  4. Pray that each therapist will be faithful at demonstrating His love and walking humbly before God.
  5. Pray that each therapist will be filled by the Spirit with words of scripture that acknowledge that Christ and His example is the answer to life’s problems.

The therapists at Pathos: Christ Centered Counseling covet your prayers. We firmly believe in the power of prayer and ask that you take a moment to review the staff profiles and spend time uplifting each member of our team during your daily quiet time.

Prayer for our clients:

  1. Pray that the Lord prepares each client’s heart to seek out His guidance for their lives.
  2. Pray that God opens their eyes and ears to a new understanding of His Word.
  3. Pray that walls of resistance to forgiveness will be broke down.
  4. Pray that the client will have the courage to grow in their understanding of God’s love and desire to nurture them.
  5. Pray that God will refine them and place them on a firm foundation so that they may glorify Him.

Prayer is a glorious privilege. Thank you for your willingness to support our ministry.
